Today

One of the interesting things about living in Colorado is the weather. Even with televised and Internet weather reports you don't really know what the hell it is going to do here. May of last year I remember our trees were putting out new growth. We just got over a blizzard and the only green thing out there now is the grass. The trees down the pass are budding but the Aspens here put out their dull gray flowers, then dropped them to the ground in the blizzard. The rule of thumb here is don't plant anything outside until after Mother's Day. Well Mother's Day has come and gone and we still had a hard freeze this morning. It ain't dull, that's for sure.
