I guess I need to add carpentry to my list of occupations and skills. I posted this image to FB and some other media. If for any reason to try and stimulate some communication. This is a solid core door we bought from Home Depot. I stained with a Honey finish and installed it today. Not complete yet. Still needs a new threshold. But I ran out of material. It replaces a hollow core door that was damaged. The damage came with the house when we bought three years ago. The old door was a constant annoyance every time I looked at it. It is good to finally have it replaced. I have actually been doing building and construction since I was a teenager. Finish carpentry was never one of my strong suits. But I think this project turned out fairly well.
