Here Goes Nothing

Thursday, September 10, 2020 - Welcome. You are reading the very first post of my very first blog. Just to give you the basic who, what, where, when, how and why, let me begin by admitting right up front I have no idea what I am doing. While SBT Designs has a web site already and has had one for years (www.sbtdesigns.net), that site has always been rather static and only served as a standing ad for my business. This web site hopefully will be more dynamic and will serve as a platform for me to display and offer for sale art, photos, images and stories that I have been creating for over twenty years. As a senior citizen, my concern is that I may pass away without this material ever getting any exposure or seeing the light of day. At very minimum, I will start posting copies of the work here. I will probably make the work available for purchase, barter or public display. Whichever comes first. I won't claim any of my work is fine art. I AM a primitive artist/technician. But if I don't get the work on display and make it available my collection and my work risks the danger of speedy disappearance. And life is much too ephemeral as it is. It will take me a while to figure how to use Wix and make this effort profitable. And the risk is, I will create something here on Wix that may become difficult to transfer away from Wix. We'll see. You're welcome to come along for the ride. I will entertain any constructive suggestions.
